Growing up on the water from an early age, Sean has been around the world traveling on yachts logging over 25,000 sea miles.  Sean started as a deck hand, worked his way up to engineer, and shorly thereafter became Captain of a motor yacht in California. 

 

He knows what it takes to make your yachting experience memorable.

 

Hobbies: Sailing, Surfing, Diving, Hiking, Golfing, and Watersports.

 

 

Richard Oates

Captain, USCG Lisenced

Richard Oates was born in Australia, raised in England, and currently resides in Southern California. He has been sailing since six years of age in sabots and grew up yacht racing. Eventually, he represented England sailing an “International Moth” which he built.

 

He has over 30 years of private, charter, and project management experience on power and sail yachts up to 121 feet. At the beginning of his career, he ran a 42-foot charter yacht in the Caribbean and later ran a 94-foot Heesen charter yacht on the East Coast between Florida, the Bahamas, and New England for three years. He is skilled in all aspects of yacht maintenance including electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic. However customer-relations and satisfaction are his first priorities at all times.

 

Richard has over 50,000 miles of ocean under his keel in the waters of California, Australia, Caribbean, Florida, France, Belgium, Holland, England, Gibraltar, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Morocco, Bahamas, Caribbean, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, US West & East Coasts, British Columbia to Maine.​
